A Girl

                                  

A beautiful family of 4 living in a city. On one fine day postman delivered a wedding card to the family. So all of them decided to attend the event. In that event one of the member in the family( GIRL) noticed that her mother was wrapped in a saree which was not in a good condition to wear. She thought " last time I told my MOM not to wear but why is she still wearing this dress?". Meanwhile The father was having his dinner,observing the lavish wedding hall which was decorated with flowers and lights.

He thought " I should also make my daughter marriage event magnificant like this".

But to this freedom of thought it is too costly for him to organise event of this magnitude. At the same time Girl was staring at her father, noticed his ragged slippers again.

She thought " haven't I told my dad about the slippers?".

By looking at their parents attire she was exasperated, Unless she realised the fact that they don't have enough potential to look after their own attire.

She questioned herself "What is that making them not to be properly dressed?"

By now she decided that "I should buy a new SAREE and new pair of SHOES to my parents".

On the next day she was in a dilemma of how to earn money. Since then she decided to prepare for the examination so that she can fullfill the dream of  buying SAREE and SHOES.

After one year, on the result day she heard a news that she was not selected. This made her so depressing. She was all alone for the month. She was not confident about her life. She was terrified with the result. However after fighting all personal battles, on one morning she again decided to appear for the exam. Unfortunately to her surprise her name was not in the final list......

She was hopeless about her life. Her dream of buying SAREE and SHOES could not fullfil. Its been two year since she noticed the condition of the parents attire.

" Is it possible to do something for my parents? They are getting older, I know they dont live long. We cannot stop the nature, death is inevitable. I should do something for my parents. I should see my MOM in new SAREE .I know that she looks beautiful in the red colour SAREE. I know that my father feels comfortable in new SHOES".

These all thoughts motivated her to give one more attempt.

All docks are now clear for the examination. On the day of the examination she was tensed but confident.  She gave her best. Its been a month after the exam. One fine day she received a message from Animal Husbandary department mentioning that she got selected as a veterinary doctor. She was so happy at the news and started working towards the dream of buying SAREE and SHOES. Although, Job-role was difficult, however, her thought of buying SAREE and SHOES is making her to enjoy the duty. Finally,on the end of the month she received salary so she was all excited to fullfill her long cherished dream. She spent four hours in selecting the best SAREE and SHOES. After shopping, with the same JOSH she headed back home.

Enroute she was thinking " This shall make my MOM and PAPA happy".

All of a sudden her bike tyre got punctured. Poor soul, she doesn't realise that her life is about to meet the same fate as her punctured- tyre.

She questioned herself "OMG how come this happening now! I was waiting for this event since 3 years".

She was looking for someone to help.

But, back of her mind she was thinking about how much she wanted to see the spark in her parents eyes while presenting them the gifts she bought.

All of a sudden, now though she was heading home her life is making a U turn without her wish.

A bunch of wild dogs( even dogs would feel ashamed for comparing these creatures with them. I don't know if I have the liberty of using the word creature, because if there is a creature which means apparently there is a creator. Has he lost his mind?  how could he create such evil creatures) RAPED her dreams.

"Its not just the body they raped but the also her dreams. They don't even understand the personal battle she fought to reach that point in her life"

Let me switch into my mother tongue because her pain cannot be expressed with the combination of english letters.

At that moment, her life was set on fire, her dreams were set on fire. They hanged her with the same SAREE and  used the SHOES to burn the body. Just picture the situation through her eyes. how could everthing go wrong all of the sudden and how could some wild dogs are eating away her aspirations.

These barbarous dogs were still abusing her physical entity even after her soul left it long before.

All through this wild storm, this poor soul is still weeping over her body not to enter into again but as a means deliver happiness to her parents.

Much to the disappointment of the bereaved, torn and nullified soul. It still was witness to the fact that her parents are fighting battle for justice wearing the same SAREE and SHOES.  HER DREAM remained as a DREAM..................................
